Aeroline 110 is a braid developed specifically for drone fishing. It uses a hybrid fibre construction combining high-strength PE (Dyneema®-type UHMWPE) with aramid reinforcement (Kevlar®-type fibres) to deliver excellent strength, abrasion resistance, and predictable handling in coastal conditions.

Unlike traditional floating braids, Aeroline 110 is engineered to a specific gravity of approximately 1.10, giving it a controlled light-sinking behaviour. This allows the line to sit just below the surface so boats can safely cross over it, while avoiding the heavy seabed drag associated with dense sinking lines.

The compact 0.7 mm diameter helps reduce water drag and improve line control, allowing longer deployments and reliable retrieval of heavy catches.

Aeroline 110 was developed through extensive testing and real-world drone fishing use to address common problems such as line crossings, abrasion from shells and rocks, and inconsistent braid performance.

Note: Dyneema® and Kevlar® are brand names. The fibre types are UHMWPE and aramid respectively.
