Where Can You Use the AeroKontiki Drone?
Operators must comply with the aviation laws of the country they’re in. In New Zealand, check AirShare, a resource specifically for UAV users, offering maps of controlled airspace near airports.
General Guidelines for Flying:
Fly only in uncontrolled airspace below 400 feet.
Operate during daylight hours and within your visual line of sight.
Avoid manned aircraft, people, and private property.
Stay outside restricted airspace and at least 4 km from any airport or aerodrome.
Always launch from a beach or open area, directly out to sea.
